Flamenco Tablao: Carlos Rodriguez and Chef Johnny Hernandez

Join us as we transform The Pearl Stable into a Spanish-inspired “tablao” to showcase dynamic entertainment and great culinary fare. Madrid is home to renowned flamenco tablaos including Café de Chinitas and Casa Patas. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and performance begins at 6:30 p.m.
Madrid-based Carlos Rodriguez is the famed Spanish dancer, choreographer, artistic director, and co-founder of Nueva Ballet Español. He will perform—along with his eight-person company of musicians and dancers—Bendita, which brilliantly blends original flamenco music (performed live) with Spanish dance styles ranging from Fandangos to Rumbas.
Chef Johnny Hernandez creates a dinner worthy of the occasion—complete with a Paella cooking demonstration. The evening begins with passed Spanish tapas—Manchego con Membrillo, Pan con Tomate, and Montaditos de Queso—and dinner is served family-style. The menu features a Mixed Green Salad, Paella de Carne (Spanish rice with beef short ribs, Spanish chorizo, tender chicken, and mushroom sofrito), Espinacas con Garbanzos, Grilled Eggplant, Grilled Baguette with Olive Oil and Sea Salt, and Pudin de Pan (Orange Infused Bread Pudding). Bar service includes beer, Spanish wines, and signature Spanish cocktails.
